We are an active and sanctioned Charter with the Pinto Horse Association of America for over 50 years and a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization. Our roots trace back to a joint charter known as Wis-Il (Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois) and the Central Wisconsin Pinto Horse Association, and we’ve been around since about 1967.
We operate through the tireless efforts of our Board of Directors, Show Staff, members and volunteers. We rely on our members to not only govern and organize us through the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and numerous Program and Project Committees, but also to give us fresh ideas, initiative and willingness to help grow our Charter and the good work we strive to do.
We exist to promote the beautiful and unique Pinto horse in all of our activities, to promote good horsemanship, horse husbandry and sportsmanship in all of our endeavors and to give our members the best experience we can through our efforts that result in long-lasting and treasured memories. We look for like-minded people interested in helping us achieve our goals.
